Sam Owens
British Super Sport Championship

Former Mini Moto Champion and finishing on the podium whilst competing in the British 125 championship, Sam has a natural ability to compete with the best. Premier’s agreement to analyse qualification and race data makes a winning combination, backed by additional support, Premier aims to bring Sam’s aspirations to fruition.
2004 saw Sam finishing in the points and settling into his new Super sport class. 2005 has already shown what’s in store, A new team and sponsors, 1.4seconds off the Spanish lap record whilst testing at Cartegena southern Spain, breaking his own Lap record at Brands Hatch in March, The record was set by Sam a few years ago and at going to press had not been beaten, all this shows Sam is lined up for a very exciting championship.
Sam started racing at 13 and soon became the British Mini Moto champion, seeing the potential at an early age a 125cc race team offered Sam a ride in the British 125 Championships. A satisfactory season and Sam was chasing the leadership when a high speed crash saw him hospitalised for several weeks. Still not fully fit and Sam was back in the saddle competing with the best and soon on the Podium.
Hungry for more power a move to British SuperSport 600cc was an obvious choice. Satisfying his hunger for torque whilst learning to control 600cc of motorcycle approaching a corner at 147Mph is Sams main objective. After only 13 races he is now scoring points and with Premier IT , Staffordshire's leading IT provider, analysing all race and performance data it appears Sam has a winning combination, sights are clearly focused on the podium and long term plans are to compete in the British SuperBike 1000cc Championship in 2007.
